I live with these narcissistic idiots. They prove it every day. When they are winning they claim dynasty, when they are losing they whip out the 241 or whatever the ever-changing number of NCs they have won. Most of these necks didn't graduate HS much less attempt college.

I work with a woman who claims that she's been a bammer her whole life. She can't even name the starting qb. It never fails.

Eh dealing with bammers can be fun. If the slew out roll t*** at you, then ask them if they know the origin of that phrase is a celebration of a tied ball game. Go mediocrity! Then ask them how the million dollar band got its name. Answer a Georgia tech coach said upon destroying them, "you're team may not be worth a nickel, but you got a million dollar band". Finally as far as tradition goes did they know their elephant mascot was chosen because on of their players thought an elephant on an airline luggage tag looked cool? Ya I would say that ranks right up there with the battle of new Orleans and the origin of "volunteers". Sarcasm....

Yea, I have never understood how an African plains animal became the mascot of Bama, the luggage tag makes sense. Lol

Sorry to breaking up your *-filled indignation, but it's a billboard that is advertising a Tuscaloosa business establishment. They paid for it, and their name is on the billboard. It's no different than any billboard in any college town that takes advantange of the drawing power of the local team. In this case, the advertiser is simply being topical.

With the way this went over like a lead balloon, I'm sure someone is saying "Hmmm, that wasn't such a good idea after all."

But then again, it's Bama, so probably not.

The reason Texas didn't get Saban is that they did not want him. They wanted Auburn's coach and I think they have made the right choice.
