I wonder. Is it the coach or the talent? A year ago, the bammers were ready to fire Joe Kines. Not just a few, but the whole damn lot of them. Seems that given a year to prep those kids, Kines turned out arguably the best defense in the SEC.

OTOH, our talent was young, but came highly rated. Wonder if Trooper can coach DBs as well. We also need a dedicated special teams coach and a damn tackling instructor.
