Most appropriate Round 1 Matchup

Assuming UT makes the NCAA tourney, it wouldn't be a surprise if it were as an 8 or 9 seed.

Same with Michigan State.

Re-match of last year's Elite 8 matchup would be intriguing, as far as first-round games go.

I will say it again, I want a 10 seed. We obviously play better in the underdog role and it would give us a better shot at upsetting a 2 seed rather than a 1.

Despite both MSU's and UT's struggles, they're both capable (not likely, but capable) of knocking off a 1 seed, which makes it more intriguing than most 8/9 matchups, IMO. And winning that first game could be the spark each team needs.

E.g., imagine a second round UT-Duke or MSU-BYU matchup. People would watch those games.
