Most hated players

Out of that top 10, Jameis should be #1. By far.

Other than Tebow or Te'o (and I have no idea who Breckyn Hager is), those guys are just punks to a certain degree. Excessively cocky, brash, annoying, etc. Jameis, meanwhile, is a scumbag of a person.

I have followed college football for 20 years, I’ve got a pretty good history of college football in my head and feel like I can cover most every important player in college football history since like the 80’s.

Who the hell is Breckyn Hager???

Never hated Teo or Tebow, didn’t like the teams the played for and hated they were so good and not on my team. But those two guys have a lot of respect, showed humility and leadership.

I respect opposing players like them. It’s the Manziels that act like complete punks that tick me off

Nobody hated Teo. When he played he was universally respected until the catfish hoax information came out.

Ok, has anyone figured out who Breckyn Hager is?

Why in the world would I bother hating anyone I will most likely never even meet?

Most of those guys, I actually respect a little bit.

Personally, I think Manziel and Caleb Williams are/were both kinda punks. History has proved me right on Manziel already.

Hager was a defensive end for Texas. A lot of B12 fans couldn’t stand him beside he was brash. Also the long hair probably didn’t help.

Look, I’m on twitter all the time and I follow college football pretty religiously and I have never heard of him. I’m so confused lol

As mentioned earlier, having Tebow and Manti Teo on a "most hated list"doesn't add up. I get the catfishing stuff, but I don't know how that adds up to hate. I don't know why anyone would make up anything far fetched like that. I also thought he deserved the Heisman over Manziel, but defense isn't as captivating and entertaining evidently.

Manti Teo and Tebow both suffered from overexposure.

Tebow reminds me of the lady from the Blind Side. You can only have so much Holiness of one person shoved down yer craw before you either don't care or can't stand the mention of their name.
I have huge respect that he has not turned out to be a huge phony. If he is phony, he has hidden it well.
He is a fair commentator 90% of the time.
I still want the story of his roomie year with Hernandez. I suspect Hernandez wasn't there very much.

Teo was another feel good story that just turned out to be a dufus of the heart. When the catfishing story came out, I was just glad I didn't have to see and read endless stories about his uplifting story.
He lied about actually meeting her, and used her "story" to boost his image and media stature.
His comeuppance was a relief.
