Remember, the most important thing from today is that Dooley is not our coach! I guarantee a better showing next week. Florida is not a good team.

Butch will get it fixed, but it may take a bit. Lots to undo and we need speed in a lot of positions. Games like this expose physical and IQ level issues that can only be fixed through coaching and recruiting. It takes time.

The most important thing from today is to not accept losing but accept the loss, learn from it, get better day by day.

This is crazy. If that bozo had still been here, along with Dooley, we probably wouldn't even have scored. Oregon got 660ish yards. Freakin Akron got almost 800 last year.
I agree. The Sunseri defense would have allowed Oregon to score even faster and would have given up in the first quarter. No way Dooley and his coaching staff should still be here. GO VOLS

It sure looked like Sunseri was calling the defense...

This goes to show it wasn't all on Sunseri last year, we have very little talent, with the exception of the OL and they may indeed be over rated

Stupid thread--as if Jones proved today that he was better than Dooley? He didn't. In fact, he made one TERRIBLE decision that gave Oregon a TD (nullified by a lucky penalty), and he showed no guts on the fourth and 1 call--AND he might be starting the wrong guy at QB. AND the read option seems like a DUMB scheme with our personnel since it is fooling nobody and is basically a slow handoff to a back. AND we got waxed by Oregon. Other than that, yea, he's great.

It sure looked like Dooley was our coach today but you're right I agree. Better showing on D but if we can't move the ball on Oregon.....I hope we at least get 3 points next week.

Our read option is not the qb reading the play as much as it is the rb reading the blocking of the line. The line blocks angles or block the DL the way they want to and the back reads that. Our qb we have starting is not a viable option running the ball. Hopefully our future qbs will be.

This!!!

What the fu(k was the offensive coordinator thinking? We might not have won but we dam sure could have pounded it on the ground.

There is no way we could have matched up worse against anybody else. Yes, our strength is the oline and ground game supposedly.

But, after you lose your entire offense from last year and they stack the box, what should the OC do? 8 and sometimes 9 in the box makes you throw. What do u do when you are down 21, 28, 35 and knowing it doesn't matter what you do that your defense isn't going to stop them?

Most important thing from today is BJ's statement after it "THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE FOR TN FOOTBALL". Doesnt matter that its #2 team, we could do better.

But all in all - a learning experience while Butch & Co keep adding bricks

Dobbs is.
