I was just reviewing the box score of the game on Saturday against Vandy, and the most impressive thing to me about the win was actually how bad we shot from three.

I was telling everyone all week long that we must keep up with Vandy shooting to win the game. I was even suggesting around 40% or better was needed. However, we went 3-16 from the arc and we still were able to hold them off. This stat shows to me how much we have improved our complete game, especially our inside offensive game, rebounding, and half court defense.

Great job Vols, can't wait for the SEC tourney!

And they didn't shot 25 of them.

It was a pretty decent offensive performance. Love that we are starting to the ball to the paint.

Jordy had a bad offensive game.

2 weeks ago we don't win that game without his 15 points.

Good sign!

If/when everyone clicks(golden, McRae, tatum, stokes, maymon) we can hang with anyone IMO.

Add in the recent great ft shooting as well, and only 10 turnovers vs Vanderbilt.

Winning formula, especially with our stout defense.

I would eventually like to see Jarnell get the ball more around the free-throw line pulling the post defender out. He has surprised me with his quickness, and I think he can get buy most post defenders with a one step move. An example is the big dunk he had that was called for a walk. He blew by the defender, but he just needs to work on his foot work a little.
