I'm not sure this is evidence that the ACC is AA ball. DJU lost his job to Klubnik. Jurkovec and Leary got hurt and missed large portions of this season, so there is some kind of extenuating circumstance there. Armstrong stunk at UVA. In the age of the Portal, why not transfer to somewhere that might be a better fit?Clem, BC, NCState, Va & Pitt all have returning QBs leaving.
That’s not a good look. ACC is double A CFB.

Slovis is the most interesting one, because he'll have to sit out a year unless his waiver gets granted, right?
DJU lost his job to a better QB on his own team. Armstrong was absolutely terrible at UVA. The word on Jurkovec is that he's planning to transfer to Pitt, so he's staying within the conference. Leary was/is good, but got hurt and it looks like MJ Morris's job now, who arguably was better than Leary once he took over. Slovis was bad at Pitt and didn't seem to fit in their offense. There isn't a single one of these QBs that had an awesome season and would be returning next year as the unquestioned starter. In the age of the portal, of course guys in that situation are going to leave. Cases like Bazooka Joe staying after losing his job last year are really rare now.Regardless of the circumstances, any league losing that many experienced QBs isn’t good for it. QB play sets the leagues apart. One reason the SEC was so competitive this year outside of Ga was the QB play.
