Kinda surprise about the big drop off after the top 5. Never would've guessed OK is 40 mill more than Bama

If the guy in the replies saying that this is 2021 fiscal year donations raised is correct, the title of the graphic is a huge bait and switch.

Donations raised in a single year does not equal the worth of the program. Ohio St is the 22nd most valuable CFB program, and behind Iowa St? Gimme a break.

It’s 2019-2020 revenues.

Methodology: For this piece GOBankingRates used the United States Department of Education’s “Equity in Athletics Data Analysis” (EADA) dataset to find (1) total football revenues; and (2) conference for all NCAA Division I schools all in FY19-20 data (the most recent available). Only the top 50 schools in terms of factor (1) were included in the final list. All data was collected on and up to date as of August 3, 2022.

Still a huge bait and switch. One fiscal year's revenues doesn't equal the value of a business either.

I see a similar list every so often and the rankings and $$ amounts vary widely.

Lots of donations from Iowa, Miss, and Ark.
