Most WBB social media interactions UT #4

Beuckers effect. Even the circus around her injury creates traffic. Mulkey going to LSU; Arizona in finals = huge social media increases for those schools. Kellie doesn't publicly feud with other coaches and just wins ball games. Numbers might shoot up if she threw some birds at Auriemma but don't expect that to happen.

ESPN effect is more like it. That’s why Oregon is #2 still as well. They still post Sabrina I a lot.

I don't believe it....No sirree bob...Not for one darn second.
Need someone to do a hand recount....Each vote needs to be inspected for authenticity...
We all know Twitter and Facebook hates us....Geno must have used fake tweets to influence the count.....

It's really great to see that our social media engagements are among the best. High social media engagement is critically important when it comes to recruitment, particularly when it comes to athletes who are still in their early years of high school. How important is this, well 8 of the 12 teams listed above have been on the national stage with championship implications, and people are engaging. Winning gets you attention, attention gets you the opportunity to connect with athletes you might not have otherwise, and social media continues to build your team brand as a program in areas that you might not have reached. Perspective recruits, transfers, parents, fans, and alumni want community and connection, and social media is critical to accomplishing this. Hats of to everyone posting about the one and only Lady Vols of Tennessee.

I would have thought that with this being Pat Summit support week, we would have seen more for the Lady Vols, but #4 is still near the top.
Anyone have an idea about which websites are used to measure this? Is it the big 3 like Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, or is it on sports sites or a combination of all the above? Or something else entirely?

Ahh, I just checked and it looks like they are measuring more TikTok and YouTube. This makes sense because of the video aspect.
Maybe we just need VolTwitter to share some LadyVols vids and see how much ground we can make up against UConn or at least
pull up to #3.

Go Lady Vols!

Doesn’t mean anything. The Lady Vols fan base is still very much older and won’t be on social media.
I have to disagree. It is highly significant that out of over 300 D1 programs the Lady Vols have the fourth most interactions. And it shows how KJH has the entire program working together at a top echelon pace. Also I would like you to explain to Justine that the fan base is "very much older". She would probably disagree.

I also posted this because recently i saw a post where someone was criticizing the Lady Vols for not having enough social media presence.

Go Lady Vols!

The ranking is for the year. It includes last years 'I Back Pat' and 51 other weeks. And it is across all the major social media platforms.

It is not lost on me, NeedOrange, that your CT fan @ss just could not WAIT to run over here to post on this board the news that CT is tops in social media.

Sure, to half-@ssed cover your real intent you put in the subject line that Tennessee was #4, but we all know you were about to bust one while posting that brag about CT.

What makes it even more nauseating is I can see you sitting there feeling smug and thinking, “Because I’m mentioning Tennessee’s position in the subject line, they can’t get p!ssed that I’m actually posting this because my girls are on top.”

Well, I see you. @ss!

I think you misunderstand my response.

I go to all home games, and the crowd is chiefly over 40 except when kids’ groups attend. Not many UT students.

I’m not saying Kellie and company aren’t doing a great job with social media. They are, especially because our fan base is older and not likely on social media much. Maybe Facebook. I’m just saying that The Con, SC, and Oregon have a younger fan base, so of course, they will get more responses from fans, esp. on Tik Tok.

Well I fully expect to lose to the Lady Vols this time around. The main reason I posted it is that a little while ago I read some posts that were critical of the Lady Vol social media presence and when I saw this I felt it appropriate to share and correct some misinformation.

Two points;
A lot of people see what they imagine and imagine what they are seeing.
A devious person thinks everyone else is devious.

Okay, Ucant, is no Alabama... Mark that, period! Alabama football team regularly plays in the national championship, and wins them, no 4 year drought, no best players are out BS. They win, at least 1, every 3 years, UCONN, will not win one this year. Secondly, it's about time, that ESPN, as McGraw said, get off the bandwagon. You go to ESPN and all the highlights are of Uconn games, but not their loses. UConn's going to go down big time. They're probably not even win their conference tournament. You know, Geno love to talk about St.Pat, how she was slipping. He is classless. And, lol, he is the one, the game has passed him bye. He has the roster that shouldn't lose, please don't talk about his injuries, when he has top 10 players to fill the floor. It is time, thank the Lord, he losses luster. Furthermore, this is Pat Summitt week, we hear stories how Pat influenced women, made the game. Lol, Geno must cringe, because, ain't ever going to be That Kinda Respect for him. I give him credit for being an amazing recruiter, and game coach, but he is never going to be respected like Pat. He has never won a national championship when he didn't have the best player in the country, Pat did, and they made a documentary about that season. The Lord has justified his obnoxious, disrespected, comments and personality. They deserve a 4 or 5 seed, and he will be doing his best coaching to make sweet 16 with the ranking they deserve. I wouldn't be surprised to see him lose Fudd, and another to transfers this year. Now I do not believe, in criticizing our coach, I was a firm advocate for, the first jersey player coach Holly. She was not the head coach type, but she was one of the best recruiters in the game. We have, Key, Horston, and Burrell thanks too her, not to mention, Westbrook, Hayes, Green, Middleton, and Collins who left. Kelly lost Green with bad supervision in her first year, but hey Westbrook left because of fan abuse and ego, Mimi left for coaching change and Hayes was gone for being stupid.I am really glad Kelly has made a team, and, changed the coaching staff that she brought with her, realizing she needed a level A recruit staff.I think she's an excellent game coach, and has really taken reins, which really needed to happen. My only criticism are doubt about her, has always been, can she recruit at this level? And I am happy to say any doubts I ever had of her are past I don't believe in every bashing a player, or a coach, who spent over 20 something years making UT great in the way she could. I don't think we should ever disrespect former players or players on the team, or coaches. They do the best they can, or, they know how too. I'm happy to see Geno fall apart lol. And I'm happy to say that I was wrong that I doubted, that Kelly was ready for the big time. She has the ladies playing cohesively. I hope she gets some point guards that can get the ball up the court, and throw it in bounds. Right now I feel the only one capable under pressure, is Jordan. That's a flaw for us. Our guards our a flaw. But I trust Kelly, who was an amazing guard, and had true grit, to get this team in shape. I love the win today, it was beautiful.I don't comment much, but I like to say when I'm wrong, when someone proved me wrong, of their grit, and enhances the lady vol legendac y, I must post it!
I think it's ridiculous that the coaches ranked us behind a two loss Indiana team. We have played a better schedule than they have, and we're better team. You take out one of our best players and we still show up. I think we are a force, that nobody's going to want to see in the tournament. If Burrell gets completely healthy, and in game shape, we are ready, and if the rest of the team stays healthy, we are somebody you do not want to see. I love the fact that we have a very, excellent, chance of being a number one seed, and I would love to see Connecticut, as the number four or five seed in our division. South Carolina, is doing what they can because, Dawn knows, that their only chance of winning the SEC is to play as many games as Tennessee and beat them. She does not think Tennessee is beatable, by anyone else but her team. UConn's going to understand that real soon too. Go lady Vols!
