My mother-n-law who is a die-hard UK fan was asking my youngest child general questions today.

Question 1. What city do you live in? My daughter responded Stanford.

Question 2. What county do you live in? My daughter responded Lincoln.

Question 3. What state do you live in? My daughter responded Kentucky.

Question 4. What country do you live in? My daughter looked confused and didn't
answer.

Question 5. Well, what nation do you live in? My daughter responed with a loud
voice. VOL NATION.

This makes a father so proud.....

My mother-n-law never saw that coming.... :shakeit: :shakeit:

Id took that little girl and bought her what ever she requested! LOL too sweet!

Mine a daddys girl' signed my cast on my heel/foot not with her name just with her marker collection "go vols"' i love you." I layed in my hospital bed that eve and just wondered how did she know? what made her sign it that way? she's 5 she's waited for hour's for me to have surgery and recovery. I woke jus happy to see her and git my hug's...I asked knowing i had to play off the drugs and such, would you be the first to sign my cast? It truly made a father in a bad situation/pain smile.....2 months later im still not able to walk' im a few weeks away from full weight on my heel but she draws me and her in school crafts' and none of the pictures i have crutches...

Im very lucky to have the lil one i speak of' they are the best medicine for any problem......Enjoyed you shared that! my cast is off' but has become another part of my UT bedroom...i was ready to sling it to the curb' but that power T and go vol's i love you! i couldnt let go of''''

My late father-in-law was also a diehard UK fan. He was visiting one weekend when my daughter was 4 years old. He took her in his lap and asked her to "sing Grandaddy a song". Without hesitation, she belted out Rocky Top at the top of her lungs. After his initial surprise, he joined in and helped her sing. That is one of my favorite memories of him.
