So what would you do to motivate the Vols tomorrow? Football, especially college football, is about motivation and leaving everything on the field. You can use music, movies, film, etc. You basically have 2 days to motivate.

What would you do if you were the coach?

My choices:

1) Show the 2001 game at FLA - UT 2 touchdown underdog even though ranked #4 (UF ranked #2)

...then...

2) Show the movie "300" (stop before Leonitus gets hit by 156 arrows)

...then...

3) Show the 1991 game against Notre Dame - "Miracle at South Bend"

...then...

4) Show the movie "Braveheart" ( but stop before Wallace gets his head chopped off - stop after the "sacking" of York)

...then...

5) Show the 2003 game at Miami where UT was the underdog

...then...

6) Show any of "The Matrix" movies - preferably the first

They would miss the game watching all those movies!

Just show the 1985 Sugar Bowl, and make sure and show the Jimmy Johnson interview before the game, when he said "After this game we should be ranked #1!" LOL!!:rock:

Show the ESPN prognosticators film and tell them that everybody has us getting blown clean out or Norman. Then challenge them as football players to show their a good football team.

15 hours of watching movies and games. I dont know how motivated I would be after sitting down for that long. I would show them one of our classic games and then the VFL Films highlight videos from the past 2 games.

I say we just pick the perfect song. There is a thread full of motivational tunes ranging from Enter Sandman to Tennessee Stud.:loco:

The Vols don't need no stinking motivation..just open their cages and show 'em the field. Then sit back and enjoy the mayhem..

I think I'd rather the team spend the last two days practicing or sleeping rather than spending 15 hours watching movies and games.

I'm sure you don't mean do all in the same week. However, Remember the Titans is a spectacular movie and would be a good motivator.

The team would get bored as hell watching that nonsense. You keep your routine the same. The players are already motivated.

If you do something, perhaps you bring in a guest speaker to share a story they can relate to given by former players and other successful people.
