Went up there tonight to watch a friend who is trying to start a racing career. He's got some learning to do, but for the first time I feel truly confident he can make something out of it. I'm not saying he'll be in NASCAR or anything, but he can at least compete on the local tracks.

The reason for this thread though was to commend Motor Mile for a great facility and good racing. All four series were good and there is some serious talent in the late model series, including some developmental drivers from Cup owners. Upper East Tennesseans and southwest Virginians that are into racing should make the trip up if they ever have the chance.

Agreed, much better all around than Coeburn.
