I saw it at the Belcourt a few weeks ago here in Nashville. I think I laughed at all the totally inappropriate moments.

The first thing that struck me was Dave Chapelle.

Especially his skit with the "Haters" going back in time to the antebellum period and "hating" on the slave owner.

Except this movie is the opposite situation.

I do not know whether or not I should laugh, be offended, or take it for what it is worth.

I think the people who made this film wanted to address racial injustice in America in a lighthearted manner, but it is definitely not politically correct. If you are hypersensitive to racial stereotypes this movie would drive you into a blind rage.

I agree with your post, it is purely satirical.

When the shopping net work came up, I found my self cringing and laughing at the same time.

Not for the pc at heart.........................
