I wouldn't count this, as it was originally planned and filmed as a trilogy, and thus the first and second had that "to be continued" feel, and it all climaxed in the third. Of course the final film is going to rock the socks off the first two. Although, LotR:RotK was top notch stuff.

3. Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith

Is this Episode III? If it is, then it doesn't apply either in my book, because Episodes 1 through 3 were utter crap.

Maybe so, but on the crappy scale, 3 is much lower than 2 and 1.

The Star Wars movies, for me, go 4,5,6,3,2,1. I can barely make it through TPM except for the final lightsaber battle.
