Has/will Asumnu get any PT this year if we are blowing someone out? I would like to see him get in some since he put forth all the effort to make the team. Also, how loud do you think the stadium will be when he comes out on Senior day?

I don't know, I thought he's at least get a shot blocking kicks considering his vertical. However, the word is when he jumps, he has a problem staying behind the line, which could result in a penalty.

I didn't even know this rule existed until someone told me that. Anyone have a clear cut definition? I'm assuming it's the line of scrimmage.

I think the rule is that you can't come down on top of another player. I don't know what the point of that is. It was called in the Aub/LSU game in 2004 at the end of the game. I would think that if you put him right behind the line and had him jump straight up, especially long FG's, then he would have an real good chance of blocking it.

Anyone can play kick coverage for Tennessee run down field and watch the guy with the ball run past you.

Pretty much but is it a coincidence that the one time I saw him out there was the Florida return for a TD that was called back. :detective:

That punt return for a TD by UF was pathetic. Our guys just looked stupid trying to tackle that guy. They looked like they were standing around watching each other trying to tackle him.

We were still in the UGA game until we let them run that punt back for a TD. I can't figure out why it is impossible for UT to have decent, or even respectable, special teams.

I think what we ought to do, is put him and Cooter in as a special 4th & 1 team. Jim Bob takes the snap, turns like he's going to hand-off to Stanley, then Stanley picks Jim Bob up, ball and all, and dunks him over the head of the middle line-backer for the first down.

You can't come down on the long snapper.

i bet we see him if we run a hail mary at the end of the half or the game.
I don't think that would happen, especially at the end of the game. If he dropped the pass then everyone would be screaming becuase we had him in and not one of our receivers. It would be inspiring if Asumnu did catch a game winning Hail Mary though.
