the love for foster now is laughable.

99 everyone knew he was a stud who had a solid career at UT. The only reason we were pissed was because he didn't reach his full potential in college. I loved Arian foster before he was an all pro rb not because he is one now

I think Arian will have some other things on his mind the next week... rather than calling high schoolers

I promise you 99 percent of our fan base didn't classify him as a stud...they were very frustrated by his fumbling issues in big games. I liked him and thought he was a very solid back, but I don't think anyone could've predicted his NFL success. I'm happy for him.

i'm not saying everybody.

but, when he left tennessee, what he was most known for was fumbling.

i believe it would be accurate to say that for the vast majority of people, it was not shocking to see him go undrafted. it is however shocking to see he is one of the best running backs in the nfl.

more power to him and congratulations. i'm sure everyone wished him nothing but the best as he was never thought of to be a bad kid, and from what i can understand is a very good man.

but, to pretend that he left tennessee as a highly thought of and well respected player would be a little disingenuous

:lolabove: further proof

You do realize Arian Foster does not speak highly of UT? I don't think his recruiting skills are what you've imagined.

He was an unrecruited 3 star from SoCal to whom a top SEC program gave A LOT of opportunity, coaching, exposure and support. He does not appear to be a grudge-holding thug.

CBJ could reach out to him at least, in case you're wrong.

I for one am not too proud to ask the guy for help, when we really need it.

I will admit that I was one of those people because of the fumbles. It just always seemed he fumbled at the most inopportune times. Wished he had been as big of a beast at Tennessee as he is in NFL. Glad he is proving me wrong now.

I think he was talking to 99gator (the second poster in this thread) not saying 99%. I had to read it a couple times to figure that out myself.

I just wish Foster could some how get his NFL career level up with Tim Tebows. I know Foster is trying, but that Tebow is just too talented, that is at the NFL level

Im all all-pro player, and with the help of the UT program, i went undrafted. Think about how much money i lost by going to UT.

Thats what other programs are selling against us according to hubbs.

The easy flip to that is that he had a very mediocre college career with tons of fumbles and because he went to Tennessee he got a chance he may not have if he would have went somewhere else.
