I would like to say thank you for selecting the Vols over other competitors. Being in the SEC, with the best stadium and unrivaled athletic facilities, we treat football with the passion it deserves. Our fan base is hopelessly devoted to Vols who give their all for their university, football team and community. We believe in Butch and what he is doing. True indeed, the orange storm is brewing and coming.

WELCOME

As a long time Vol fan, I wanted to introduce you to some in your legendary VOLS defensive linemen pedigree....

ALL FIRST ROUNDERS -

1. Reggie White - do I need to say more? 1st round draft pick; All American; NFL Pro-Bowl, NFL HOF
2. John Henderson
3. Albert Haynesworth
4. Justin Harrell
5. Shaun Ellis
6. Todd Kelly
7. Chris Mims
8. Dick Evey
9. Doug Atkins

There are many others in (or have been) in the league. This list is waiting your arrival with the fanfare only us Tennessee fans can give. We look forward to your days in orange and beyond.

Congratulations on your decision. You've made a bunch of older guys (who bleed orange) very happy with your decision.

He still has to sign.

Really? Ok I'm assuming since your name is volfan14 you are 14 years old, and in that case I can accept your ignorance, but if your not that could be the most stupid post ever. O wait I get it now you were being sarcastic. I gave you two reasons for that post, but if you were serious please go practice falling down.

I posted this in another thread in the recruiting forum, and I definitely believe it. Creepy thank you, but understandable. I'm a young guy, but I bleed Orange too.
Despite all of our great recruits, I think KM will be a 3-4 year nightmare for offenses, leader on the team, and cornerstone for this recruiting class and the next few. I think he'll come in and be incredibly special on the field... this individual is what UT football needs right now.

You have blood pressure problems, don't you?

Ah yes... The appreciation thread. Before he even arrives or makes a play. I get it though. That's why they calls us fanatics. And getting a recruit as talented as km is exciting. He also seems to be very intelligent kid with great ethics.

This young man comes from money, class, intellect, and a great family environment .... all that and over and above his father being in a pro football organization as a manager for years ... this is not your ordinary high school recruit ... his football quotient is probably an 11 on a scale of 10 for high schoolers .. just not a better overall pedigree possible IMO ...

Hope everybody on here was able to hear his interview with Ainge this morning. If not, go to TSRs website and look up the podcast, was in the 4th hour around 10:15 eastern time. The kid is special. For an example, in addition to being very articulate and thoughtful, he said he believes his ideal playing weight is 290-310 and he'll trim down from 341 to make sure that his burst is as good in the 4th qtr as it is in the 1st. This kid can be a cornerstone-type player.

Edit: oh yeah....HE contacted TSR so that he could speak directly to VolNation. Again, he's special.

Folks, it is no accident I guarantee that his father has him and his younger brother at DeLaSalle, one of the premier high school football programs in the nation before sending them to The Hill. These kids coming to UT will bring a recruiting boom to the school and SEC conference from the West coast for years to come is my prediction.
