And anybody is surpised at them losing again? Why? They only have a few quality players and a high school level head coach.

If I was MH I would not have hired him to start with; then if I had I would have pulled the trigger two years ago; then after last season; then earlier this season after the UF weekend to send the message that this was not acceptable at UT. In his mind he's probably too busy dealing with basketball issues and the AA to deal with it now. He obviously does not understand baseball and how it all ties together with other sports. A decisive leader makes decisions regardless of the political and personal consequences.

And I am not a negavol. I see what I see and know what I know about the game.

What exactly changes this season if he's fired on Monday? Not a thing.

5 conference weekends left. Ride it out, don't renew the contract, get out $0 sum due.

If I in anyway thought firing him would suddenly wake this team up to win 12 of their last 15 to make Hoover I'd agree, but it's not happening.

If Raleigh had another year left on his contract, would it change how you feel?

He does...:)

MH gave a 5 yr. contract to a guy with TR's experience and record? That is enough to fire MH in my opinion. TR should have been fired 2 years ago and now we find out he has another year on his contract? WHAT exactly is reason MH loves this guy so much?---I just don't get it.

If not, I think MH will be under more scrutiny than ever. Its likely he'd be fired.

The BS scheduling to try and pad his win/losses was a bad sign from the get-go this year. He doesn't seem to display any signs of improving this team or as a coach.

I guarantee the kids would win more games if they just appointed a player/coach. As long as they can write a lineup and pitching rotation, it literally cannot get any worse. Seriously.

We've only won 2 conference games, I guarantee they could find a way to win two more before season's end.

I believe DeerPark can clear up some of that for you.

They need leadership and support. The remaining will come with the love of the game.

It was a 5 year deal?

I've thought it was 4?

Either way, it serves no purpose to cut him loose now. Play out the season. But there is no way he should be back next year.

I'll be, it is a 5 year deal.

If I'm reading this right.....he'll be due $310K on a buyout?

Looks right to me. I honestly think people will bash Hammy if Raleigh stays another year or not.

1. If Raleigh is bought out and Hammy doesn't hire a proven winner, BASHED!

2. If Raleigh works out his contract, people will be certain that Hammy no longer cares about UT athletics. BASHED!

I wouldn't be surprised if Hammy is given the "option" to resign in the near future.

Heck, if he's fired and indeed gets a 310K buyout, people will bash about that.

At this point, I expect him to be given that "option" once the investigation mess is over and think it will be best for all parties involved.
