I just noticed the MS State will play Bama the following week after our Vols play them. If we beat Bama that could lead to crushing their souls :D. But,, I noticed the MS States plays UGA the following week after we play them as well! Lets just say we beat UGA as well, that could help MS State kick and possibly a win as well? I know I know jumping way out there.

Hoping Ole Piss drops a few we could (and I say "could") paly MS State in the SEC Championship game, a la 1998, 24 Vols - 14 MS State. We all know what happened after that.

Just dreaming here. it doesn't hurt.

Miss State will crush whatever is left of the optimism and spirit Kentucky had going into the 2022 season. Tennessee will then crush Kentucky scoring more than 50 points.

I’m sorry but the forums seem like there are bots starting these BS topics. Maybe Freak is just to keep the conversations going. Either way is hyperbole. I know I know I still commented.

Vols can’t complain this yr about the schedule. For decades Tennessee got screwed by the SEC office with the schedule (not just playing Alabama but playing Fla & ga early & usually B2B) This year the schedule falls fair.

They changed up our schedule a couple years ago. Moving Georgia back to November was a Godsend. Now instead of late September through TSOO being a nightmare, we get an easy SEC team thrown in. Each big team gets about a month of separation from each other.

Yeah, Auburn finally complained about playing Ga and Alabama within 3 weeks so the SEC office changed their game with GA to October and moved Tennessee to Nov. Tennessee complained alot over the years about playing Fla and GA back to back and all they heard was "crickets".........

I swear we always had a four week stretch of absolute brutality with all our major rivals. Florida, georgia, X, Bama. Our season was decided by the 6th or 7th game. Lately that decision has been we are bad, but now at least its stretched out. Makes it much more interesting.

Miss State has pretty much played Alabama twice in the last 3 seasons after losing a game (in 2021 they played them the week after losing to Texas A&M; in 2019 they played them the week after losing to LSU). The end result each time, though, was Alabama throttling the life out of the Bulldogs rather than coming in dejected, unmotivated, or broken (49-9 and 38-7).

Yeah, as much as I hate to say it, I see Bama handling Miss State pretty easily.
