No he’s not expected to be a WR in college. I’ve seen speculation that he could be a safety, an Edge, or a LB. I think LB makes the most sense.

Guys switch positions from high school to college all the time. Jauan Jennings was a QB at Blackman, but everyone knew he wasn’t going to be a college QB. Folks thought he’d be a safety or WR. He became a WR.

Wyatt is projected as more likely to play on the defensive side, but there’s no consensus on which position.

Going back to the 90s, I do remember Anthony Hampton switching from WR to LB at Tennessee. He was going to be a good one too, but got kicked off the team.

We get it man. To you, Heupel cannot be criticized nor questioned. He is infallible and has never made a mistake. I would just ask you to try and think for yourself. Ask yourself, who has Pope developed in the past two years?

At 170/180 with good speed, safety sounds logical to me. We may finally get our first 6’3 safety
