Tristen Keys will be at TAMU this weekend for his second unofficial visit. They play NM State. Keys was there earlier for the Yell Boys' win over LSU.

His team (Hattiesburg) won tonight 48-14.

This is one of the players I am most excited about in the 2026 class. I wish we had some more recent updates though.

I think we can build some offenses to rival 2022 in the coming years with the way we are positioned to stack some top QB and WR talent.

If @allvolrecruiting or anyone has any info on Keys' recruitment, I would love to hear it. 24/7 had us as the early favorite, but On3 is recently showing Ol Miss at 40%, Vols 20%, and assorted players after. I know Bama, ND, TAMU, LSU are in contact.

Feels like a Tenn/A&M battle. This season with him it felt like ping pong of the two hosting him when each had an home game

Exactly! It's just some of our paranoid fans. Players don't get dropped just because they commit to us. Absolutely absurd anybody would actually think that. Just like ESPN and the media hating us. Simply not true.

David Sanders and Faizon Brandon (separate classes) both dropped after committing to Tennessee.

You’re naive as hell if you don’t understand why.
There’s money to be made in recruiting rankings.

Also programs with a more recent success track record on the field always get points because site scouts are betting that recruits will become better prospects by playing for them.
That’s the difference between a 4 star and 5 star in some instances.

Yes. Players ABSOLUTELY get dropped or boosted up because of who they commit too…

to be fair On3 is pretty obscure about those percentages, it's not like 247Sports where it's experts putting predictions in but rather some AI algorithm that determines it based on things like website impressions and social media mentions

With the amount of transfers we’ve had so far and the staff supposedly not planning on taking anyone in the portal is there a chance they’re trying to pull a Ryan Williams with this guy and have him reclassify to this class? At this point that or Seldon moving to WR are the only things that make sense, and that doesn’t seem likely since he will likely be a heavy part of the RB rotation next year
