Was absolutely ridiculous. They spent the entire time race baiting, pushing the birther issue, and last night, said that Romney started a war with Russia. We all know fox is bad, but MSNBC lost what little credibility they had after last night.

The issue that took the cake for me, and I mentioned this in the GOP Convention thread, is when Ed schultz said Romney's quote about "when you need something done big, you get an American to do it" as a dig to appease the birthers. He essentially said that Romney said this because he doesn't believe BO was born here. It was taken completely out of context. Romney had just finished talking about Neil Armstrong and was referring to American exceceptionalism. Matthews and Maddow have lost credibility as journalists.

I change the channel to msnbc when Juan Williams comes on Fox and when Al Sharpton starts talking, I switch it back. Guess I'm racist

They're all in. They have no credibility. Anything goes baby!!!!!!! After we fire Obama in November, MSNBC will probably be gone.

any sense of journalism by the MSM is over now. Now is the time they turn into the Obama PR machine. It's really sickening IMO.

You really ought to listen to Juan Williams. He may be to the left, but he's thoughtful and not a bomb thrower by nature.

I guess I just don't get what the appeal is to tuning into a debate or newscast expecting to agree with everything.

I like Juan and consider him to be a sincere commentator. I don't agree with his views on some things but think he offers them in good faith. None of the MSNBC crowd is sincere (at least I can't imagine they believe the crap they spew) - it's calculated to achieve political effect.

They are operatives; not commentators.

I agree. Juan Williams is one of the few in the media who I believe has real integrity when it comes to his positions. I rarely agree with him, but I like him. If someone can't stand him it's probably because they can't handle a difference of opinion.

For the most part I agree. The corporate wife comment was out of line. There was nothing outside of preconceived opinions that could hold that opinion of Mrs. Romney that night.

Lol MSNBC is a joke. Although, I'm not quite sure what the OP was expecting to be honest. It's not as if MSNBC (or Fox News if we're talking about the Democratic convention) is paid to give a fair and balanced opinion of the other side's convention.

Guy seems very decent and honest.

My mom made a very good point about him I think.

You can tell how much it means to him to have a President who is black in the white house, and he tries to always stay postive and see the good in Obama, but deep down inside I think he expected more.
