Be underwhelmed by Mullen at your own peril. The guy had Mississippi State ranked number 1 at one point and built a solid program there. That is an accomplishment. He now has all of the tools he needs to take it up another notch. Still, if Tennessee does well, and Pruitt doesn’t flop, then I think we can at least achieve parity with them. Mullen might not be exciting to some, but he’s a damn good coach.

The constant effort to belittle Mullen and the Gators is not going to make UT better so you might want to spend your energy where it can do some good.

Are you all still gonna be trolling our board when we start continuasly beating you all annually? Florida was in a better situation for Mullen to take over then Pruitt at Tn.Pruitt is now getting his players, not good for you all! I’ll take Pruitt 10 times out of ten over Mullen the weirdo.

We'll be here sparky...just like some of us were here nine years before you showed up less than five months ago.

When UT beat us a couple years ago, we gave credit where credit was due. And when it happens again at some point, we will do it again.

Who is trolling who here? You guys are the ones that keep making dumbass threads berating Mullen and claiming he is Butch Jones or McElwain, when he just beatdown Tennessee the same season in Neyland. Shouldn't you at least wait until you win before you brag or diss on him?

I don't get this whole "weirdo" talk. I thought McElwain was definitely a weirdo, but Mullen sounds very intelligent and coherent whenever he has a presser or is on TV. To Vols, anyone who speaks normal English is a "weirdo". I guess Pruitt fits perfectly where he is.

What do you Florida guys expect on a Tennessee board? Opposing coaches are going to get trashed, especially Florida and the Dark Lord Saban; the hate is real. Hell, many throw our own coaches under the bus, everybody is fair game.
That said, Mullen is a good coach. The question, same as with us and Pruitt, is will they be good enough to meet our fanbases' similar expectations of success? I have no clue.
Georgia and Bama will be on top for the next several years. If I had to make a guess, Florida and Tennessee will be fighting it out for 2nd and 3rd in the East. Well, we'll join the party when we field a competent offensive line, so we might need a couple more years.
Not related, but I wish you guys would stop playing Michigan in bowl games. I hate having to root for them.

I think Kirby is overated! He is too much of a mouther. He has all the looks and the media loves him, but face it, it is Georgia! Take it as you will, but I was around the dogs during Herschels years and my sister who was at the UGa in Pharmacy school had there starting quarterback hitting on her. I never can remember his name. The hail mary quarterback against UF on the Lindsey Scott TD! I had a Toga party experience down there then and met the original REM drunk as hell! Almost got a Puerto Rican girl pregnant that night. GBO!!

You guys will be fine. I think next season given how well Pruitt recruited you will notice a significant improvement. I honestly am worried about our game against UT next year. I have my doubts about Pruitt being able to really compete on a championship level, simply because he is another defense minded Saban disciple, and the last one we had (ahem Champ) was very frustrating on offense. As soon as he was ahead by one TD he would cocoon into a shell and lose the game. That being said, the "offense minded" Saban disciple who we got after that was no better.

If you think you hate Michigan, then guess how we feel lol. And yes I would love to stop losing to Michigan. Maybe we could do that this year.... maybe.

Mullen is legit. Wanted him here. Not sure how well he would recruit here though because its easy at Florida.

Also I remember the same threats being said when Kiffin, Dooley, and Jones took over. It's all talk until Pruitt puts up.

Have you read this guy's posts? Him calling anyone else a "weirdo" is hilarious. The way he gushes about Pruitt I'm assuming he has a shrine built to him in his bedroom.

Difference is Mac inherited a boatload of talent from Muschamp, while Mullen is starting off with the least talented Florida squad in the past two decades.

I hope I'm wrong, but Mullen is a proven good HC and with Florida's talent pool he'll probably be VERY GOOD for a long time at Florida. I hate is because we have to compete with Bubba, Dawgs and Gators with all of them being in good to great shape at the moment.

I like how Mullen went from being at best our third choice after Kelly and Frost, to “Hire of the Century”.
