Yep. Definitely a stupid move. Hurts their depth. But I doubt one ignorant decision is going to lead to a lot a joy-riding.

Auburn might be the worst overall athletics program in the SEC. How far down the ladder do you have to go to find a sport that they are good at?

Football - Horrible
Men's Basketball - Horrible, and have been horrible for a while
Women's Basketball - Horrible
Baseball - Horrible
Softball - Mediocre
Track - Below Average

But they sure are good at swimming and equestrian.

I read the thread title and then this post, and I still had no idea if it was about basketball or football.
