After all the Hype, you know he has very talented players. Not like the talent gap Tennessee has now. He can recruit like HECK, but his team sure does seem to make a ton of mistakes and our not disciplined. They also do not look very tough. Seems like he could end up being the new Fulmer at this point. Who knows?

New staff, new system, plus they lost their 1st and 2nd string QBs. Demps has also been injured.

Brantley, Demps and Powell didn't dress out tonight.

Debose, Sturgis and starting OG Wegner got hurt during the game and didn't return.

Fulmer, NO WAY!

I would say Muschamp = Zook or to use a non Gator coach, Rich Rod (minus the temper).

He's got a young team. His top skill players have been there awhile but overall they're as young as the Vols. If he was terrible we would've beat them.

I don't know about the next Phil but Muschamp looks like the most eligible coach to have a coronary on the side lines...man he is emotional

Yes but still we have only scored 17 total points in the last 12 quarters...very frustrating, even if it was LSU, Alabama and Auburn.

Why does he have to equal anyone? He is in his first (half) year as a head coach. Let the man create his own legacy. It's unfair to tout him the next Zook, Meyer, or Dennis Green at this point.

FL will get sick of his circus soon enough. Coached in the SEC do get animated, but his over the top show has already gotten old with several FL fans I've talked to. Losing doesn't help. The cupboard was not bare when he arrived.

They Gator fans may become a little restless if, surely it won't happen, FL drops 4 in a row at GA this week.

When was the last time that happened?

Wait till next year when Rainy & Demps are gone. They will be like kensucky when they lost Cobb, Locke & Hartline. Floridas little glory run is over. The longer they keep moosecamp, the better our recruiting goes.

Gator fans will give Muschamp 3 years to do something. Its hard to fault him for losing the LSU and Alabama games as those two teams are simply a lot better than UF in terms of talent, experience, and depth.

I'm willing to give him something of a pass for the Auburn game given the injury problems, but I am concerned about the attitude of the team, particularly on offense, as there seems to be very little fire and excitement on that side of the ball.

And what REALLY did irk me, and which I put at the feet of the coaches, is the muffing of not one, not two, not three, not four, but FIVE punts during that game. That, to me, is inexcusable.

Its bad enough the first couple of times, and at that point you say, okay, we have a problem, let's just let every punt go at this point and we will work on it at practice next week. But to KEEP ON having the inept return game trying to execute, when they clearly could not, was just insane, imo.

And so on that one score I really do put some fault on the coaching staff.

As to the comparison to Fulmer, I would say that at Florida we won't let a stale piece of dead fish run our program for another 5 years or so after it is apparent he can't get the job done. That would be the difference between Florida and Tennessee, and therefore the difference between Fulmer and Muschamp.

And so it begins...again...

2002 - Spurrier's gone...the Vols are gonna own the SEC.
2005 - Meyer's offense will never work in the SEC.
2006 - Chris Leak is not a championship QB.
2007 - Tebow is nothing more than a glorified fullback.
2008 - Meyer can't win without Zook's recruits.
2009 - WE ONLY LOST BY TEN POINTS!!! KIFFIN RULES!!! :dance2:
2010 - Meyer's gone...the Vols are gonna own Florida.
2011 - Wait until Rainey and Demps are gone...the Vols are gonna own Florida...for real this time!!
