Hopefully he is far enough out so that nobody can hear his crying after Tennessee absolutely destroys his chickens this coming season.

They seem to think he's a great hire over in Gamecock country.

If he recruits talent to SC that will be an improvement. As far is coaching is concerned, he's not anywhere close to the same level as Steve Spurrier.

I hear the Vanderbilt coaches home looks like the home of the Beverley Hillbillies........

from the first episode.....BEFORE Jed discovered the oil.

Well, I've perused their boards and they're mostly enamored with him. Some are cautiously optimistic etc. They definitely think he recruited well this cycle for the most part. I feel like he did okay given the time he had to work with. He managed to pull a few four stars, but you're not going to win in the SEC pulling classes outside the top 25 and 10th in the SEC with 26 commits. If they don't improve drastically this year, I don't see his recruiting improving and that does not bode well for his future.

lots of walls for him to punch. I heard he has a sheet rock guy on speed dial.

Their fans have, for the most part, really embraced his angry "Boom" persona. I personally think the man is unstable and somewhat of a ****ing lunatic. If he doesn't see immediate success this year, I wonder how well he'll hold up being as angry as he is.

This house isn't that impressive. I don't see it as extravagant based on his salary and past salaries.

At florida, (from a 2011 article) Contract is for $13,752,000 over five years. Average per year is $2,750,400. $500,000 buyout.

Doesn't include coaching shows, and product endorsements. Also, whatever he made at Auburn (he may have forfeited some of his buyout by coaching at Auburn), plus the equity in his existing home. Also his Auburn salary. Now he's being paid $3,000,000 per year at USC. Plus he got it at $425,000 under original asking price.

Yes, someday it may be hard to unload, but (as a realtor), I think he did OK here. Waterfront always adds more to the value.

Ever see Nick Saban's waterfront crib in Tuscaloosa?

Lots of jealous people here

Yep completely jealous of someone who immediately starts off on a short leash with the fans ready to turn on him after the first loss. He's following Spurrier like most logical people I believe that SCarolina peaked under Spurrier. Chump was all but run out of Auburn and never had a good defense with the talent they had.

Face it he's on a 3 year timetable. If he's not run out of town before then.
