Music During A Baseball Game

Alright check it. I have a weekend gig' Public Announcing and also running the music at baseball games.

This kind of mixes my two loves of baseball and music so I don't really mind going that extra mile to make it perfect.

I'm trying to think up music clips to play during certain situations during the game. Be that home run, double, coach coming to talk to the pitcher, a strike out.

I'm not looking for full songs to play because if I asked that everyone would say "Cenetrfield", "Cheap Seats" and all those awful songs that are overplayed at about every baseball venue.

Here's Some Examples of what I got. I just want to know if anyone has any songs that come to their head in any situation during a baseball game.

Opposing Coach Comes to Mound
Elvis- "A Little Less Conversation"

Home Run by Home Team
Jenifer Page- "Crush"

Home Pitcher K's A Batter
N'Sync- "Bye Bye Bye"
Queen- "Another One Bites The Dust"

Just some examples. And remember I usually just make clips with my music editing software and get to the meat and 'taters of the song.

Suggestions? The funnier the better. Have at it.

I suggest that n'sync never be played in public and certainly not when Queen is an option.

our HR, "I'm Bad" or selects from "Paradise by the Dashboard Light"

Our warmups, "Sweet Georgia Brown"

Double "It takes two" It takes two to make a thing go right, it's that dance song.

Coach comes out to mound "Talk Dirty to Me" I think Poison sings it and I would laugh if I were there.

What about that song "Hero" Mariah Carrey for a homerun by home team, especially if it wins the game.

I love this thread, I'm gonna think of some more...

business, I've been to several Pirate baseball games and always tell myself "I would love to know who is doing this music". I love it that you do this. I gotto think about this, go business make some noise.

you go to a pirates game, you have to be going to watch the other team

I've got "Walk This Way" for a walk.

I like Gimmie Three Steps for a steal. I'm def. using that one.

I was wishy-washy about N'Sync but it kind of adds to the humiliation of the Strike Out with the boy band exit.

I have William Hung "I Believe I Can Fly" for the opposing team's infield session.

I actually did play Rocky Top in the last game but I'm not going to overkill it I'm deep in ACC country.

Keep them coming.

Ummmm, they are suggestions that is all. I didn't see a sign that said I was not allowed to make suggestions. When they are talking all close and quiet, Talk Dirty To Me is hilarious! And what do you know about baseball, giant? Business wants suggestions, I gave him a few of mine. I'm gonna get you now Mania... You just picked a fight with The Niss! It's on :aggressive:
