I've had sinus drainage the past 3 days and a low grade fever. So far it hasn't gone over 100 though. Technically I guess it's just an elevated basal temperature but whatever. Lame! Seems like just a cold maybe.

It's probably Ebola. :p

Allergic to a winning season I hope? Your tolerance has gotten low, but it will soon be back to much higher levels.

The past 2 months I've had 2 seperate colds/sinus something, and the first one lasted almost 2 weeks. I can't remember the last time I had any kind of cold in the summer before this year.

My sister has it too apparently. She had a headache for the past two days and didn't know why till I threw a thermometer at her. Guess she isn't sensitive to fevers like I am. I can feel it even when I've got a mild fever, it's not just in my head it's like my whole body is off. I also can't remember having a cold during the summer either.

So... a week or so after I made this thread I thought all was well and good, didn't have a fever or anything. All of a sudden my nose starts running, my face gets tight, I bust out with a higher fever. Sunday(8/17) rolls around and I wake up with the most awful sore throat, like it felt like I had been gargling broken glass. For the next 8 days I only get a half nights sleep every day because I woke up early with an excruciatingly sore throat. I don't think any mucus on the planet should make your throat hurt that damn bad. I've had strep and flu that never made my throat hurt like that. It wasn't until Monday morning when I actually made it through the night without waking up to a sore throat. I've been hoarse for the past 5 days now and still haven't gotten my voice completely back to normal. My fever never went over 100.9 though.

Whatever this is it's evil.

I've been sick with it over a year. Every morning when I wake up I puke, and the only thing coming up is mucas! In a months time I bet I could fill up a 5 gallon bucket! Sux

Allergies have given me problems my whole life.

Thankfully I'm negative for allergies but both my sisters take Zyrtec and Nasacort on a regular basis.

Maybe you should get that looked at?

It hit me yesterday. Hoping I get over it quick. Need to be 100% for the weekend

Good luck with that. I'm officially going on day 12, although the drainage, and the overly sore throat have subsided to a degree I'm still randomly getting fevers. Low ones typically no higher than 99.7 but fevers none the less.

Hopefully that bug will be dead on Sunday night. We've all been trying to get over it.

I haven't had any fevers. As soon as I felt the drainage coming on I started heavily medicating and using the netipot. I've gone through phases of heavy drainage, sinus congestion, body ache, and now chest congestion. Overall not feeling too hot but feels like I'm getting a little better.

Body aches usually go along with the flu but I guess you can get them with a cold as well. Yeah, I used the NeilMed Sinus Rinse as well. Seemed to help some. What are you heavily medicating with? It might have helped if I took some Mucinex, and Sudaphed. Let me tell you how ridiculously expensive Mucinex is though. Should be a crime to charge that much for generic Guaifenesin.

Zyrtec + sudafed + advil

Need to get some mucinex now that it's moved to my chest.

I'm prone to sinus infections so I've got a z pack on deck just in case.
