:peace2: Hello fellow vol fans. EXCITING NEWS! Sources in arkansas said that after a long drawn out decision that Mustain is planning on yours truely Tennesse Nation. Alex Mortenson (backup qb) had decided to leave the university or arkansas when Mustain had committed to Arkansorry and he has formally agreed to rejoin the team. This article can be seen at hawgsillustrated.com for further details. Arkansas sources state this is because Mustain is not planning on attending there. (who can blame him, I wouldn't want people knowing I'm from arkansas either) Sources state that Mustain's mom wanted him to play for a well known program but given the circumstances with Notre Dame that Tennesse is close to home and gives him the best shot of a national championship. Sources also say that he will redshirt his freshman year so that he may learn the system and adjust to being away from home.

Everyone, I know we were making fun of his mom and him being from arkansas, but start sending in your apologies because it's about 99% certanty that he is coming to his new home. Vol nation out!

IF he does come not really a surprise. Considering Arkansas is so screwed up, ND doesn't need him, Florida got their man & USCal is in good shape. A bit surprising USCar (SOS) isn't after him more. But SOS always believed if they didn't want to come to him, he'd usually beat them with someone else...i.e. PM.

Anyways, when i see Mitch sign, thats when we will know where he is going. He insist on playing games so who knows. He hasnt even taken an OFFICIAL visit since decommiting from Arkansas.

I don't know, maybe he realized afterwards he should have considered other schools and wanted to do things right. But who knows, if he did it just to have fun being recruited or what, we will all find out soon.

After lurking for well over a year, I'm finally going to post.....and it's recruiting info. Considering that the coaches are hard after Nick Stephens, I would say that they don't feel very confident about Mustain. Everything is still indicating that he'll go right back to Arky, and Notre Dame finally splitting ties with him shows that. Mustain also is running out of time to take those two official visits he keeps talking about, which make it seem more suspicious that he was ever actually looking at anyone else besides Arky and ND. Look for a final word from Stephens by mid next week, possibly earlier. Tennessee should be adding a QB, that is.....if his parents give it the OK. We're also going to get word on Brandon Minor on friday, he'll likely go to Michigan but Tenn is still in that one pretty good. Brent Vinson is also going to announce a final decision on Monday. Look for Tenn to get him.....like they should've already if it wasn't for momma and coach's insistence on him visiting VT. Sources also say we're getting DT Alleric Mullins, OL Ramone Johnson, and likely DL Adam Patterson. There are also some other good players that Tenn is in it with, but I can't remember them all. We should close strong enough to be happy with this class considering the season we had.

I am pretty sure ND doesnt want mustain.... there going to get Jimmy Clausen next year no way they care about mustain. plus they already got there top 5 qb for this year. ND has never been pursuing Mustain and thats a fact.

I told you. He's going to be wearing orange next season. He was unfortunate enough to live in arkansas, why would he want to play for Houston Ima Nutt, he's coming to Tenn. and we're winning a national championship. looks like we're breaking some hillbilly hearts on Feb. 1 GOOD OL" ROCKY TOP!

He's not going to ND. QB goes back to arkansas and alabama has a qb from southlake carrol Texas that just took an official visit. 1+1=2. That's how I know. :thefinger:
