The pathetic thing is that a lot of people will read that and think that she sought out a rogue African regime to invest money in.

uterly ridiculous. American funds (i.e. capital research) is the largest actively managed mutual fund company in the world. These are likely billion $$$ funds. She's supposed to know what they are invested in? I couldn't tell you for sure a single holding in my mutual funds in my 401K and i'm a money manager.

Holding stock in gold and silver I think is a good idea. It's payed good . Silver (Paas) I bought in at 19.00 it's 30 something now, one of my good takes. I have made some bad one's too. TCBY, Hard rock, just to mention a few.:cray: All my 401-k is in mutuals. I was tring to buy gold (1936) and back, but my 401-k PLAN would not let me. It was 539 an OZ. Now, well, go look 900 $. Dam that bridge.
