I almost hope your wrong, we get this "let's not f*** up" mentality, cost us the last time we lost. Run, run, run, wear 'em down, not as talented, win 21-17. :banghead: :banghead:

This guy is awesome. Give him the ball on first down, he gets us 5-6 yards. Leaves us more options after that. Give him the ball as much as possible. Build his confidence.

USAF Vol......

Your strategy would work if you were coaching at UT, but you know the rest of the story.

:eek:lol: :eek:lol:

Are you offering me a job?

But seriously. Arian Foster needs to get the ball as much as possible. It's traditional power football. Sock em in the nose and then burn em on the pass.

No, no, USAF Vol, you misunderstood. I was complimenting you on a good game plan. You need to be up on the hill rather than you know who.

If I was coaching I'd try to atleast be balanced, i'd probably do 55% run, 45% pass, but with our QB's 99% run 1%pass.

Foster more than likely.

I'd say fourth quarter needs to see some of the younger less experienced players get some time in. I think of the remaining games, this is the lightest and easiest to get the testing ground in.

I would say do this in the first but if we screwed up and went down big, we tend to dig holes deeper rather than dig OUT.

Don;t disagree, he's the best looking young back we have had in ages. But when we play Tiger High, it's always the "try not to lose" mentlaity and that means run, run, run, run. We even did that with Manning.....and lost. :realmad:

Unless you're limiting it to UT, then DeAngelo Williams or Avery.

Nobody for UT is likely to even come close to the amount of difference those guys will make for their team- assuming that's the definition of MVP.

And, in fact, I sincerely- desperately- hope that nobody on UT does come close. After all, what we need is team performance, not clear standout stars.

I want a Vol victory on the field as well as the scoreboard; Give Williams the MVP, hell, he deserves it. Just give us the way we should have looked as a team against UAB despite the big dogs on THEIR offense.

Hopefully our whole team. We looked better last week. Foster should get the lions share of time at RB. I'd like to see Fayton and Meachem both have great games thanks to Ainge. We need to win out so the season ends on an upswing.

I'm still wondering how we didn't end up with DeAngelo.

If OLD MISSY can hold DeAngelo to under 100yrds, I like our chances. :cross:

I didn't know that. Cool. But then again. I wouldn't be surprised to see him used in other means ie screens. He may rack up more yardage that way then the run.
