Just to get an idea on fan expectations.

INB4 they haven't played a play and I'm a Nega and blah blah blah. Offseason. Deal with it.

Why does it seem like Vincent Dallas gets no love on this site? I think he is going to be a good player for us. He is still on the team and I'm not missing anything right?

Peterman is the next "Johnny Football" and he leads to the Vols to their first 10 win season since 2007 which includes an upset victory of his home state Gators in the Swamp.

Grudenites everywhere jump on the Butch Jones bandwagon after the victory over the Gators.

Hart is forgiven for botching up the deal for Gruden, but Vol Fans still think that he and Cheek are incompetent.

I know it's wishful thinking, but after the last five years, a Vol Fan can only dream, right?

Go Vols!!

Sir, that is not wishful thinking.

Just look at Buzz's record, his last season as coach at U.T. Then Pearl came in as the head man and had a 12 win improvement, with the same players. The difference is that the players were motivated by Pearl and Pearl could coach.

bUTch getting the most out of the players and coaching them up is NOT far fetched. Hell, we could have easily won 10 games this season, if as had a defense, so the team is not that far away from being really good.

Raising our expectations should be allowed. I'm loving some Peterman H.S. clips. Dude looks like the real deal to me.

Tough call. I voted Neal since he's the most proven on the list. If only he can stay healthy for a full season!

Marlin Lane is the only consitent player on that list thats proven himself. He plays hard and runs the ball well. He was only a true sophomore this year. Neal improved his ball security this year and I was really impressed with that. He does however seem to have an issue breaking arm tackles. With his rumored 4.3 speed he didn't break away with as many as I figured he would. Looking forward to seeing the rest of these players this year. Hope they have a great and healthy year for the Vols.

Not sure but someone needs to step up and distinguish himself. Maybe there will be a pleasant surprise(s) .

It will be Tiny, because all of the skill players will be sharing a lot of the touches. Out of that list, I believe it will be Neal.

It would be nice to have the option of "Someone Else." It would not surprise me to have a someone come out of the wood works under the new system and play very well.

Now if you ask which of those listed is most likely to be the offensive MVP, I would probably go with one of the running backs simply because the position translates most easily to just about any style.

I like you optimism for next year, but there are three almost certain losses next year, at Oregon, at UF, and at Bama, but anything can happen right?

As for last season, Wilcox departing for Washington really hurt the Vols, and Hart hiring Sunseri doomed them for a bad season on defense as there was enough talent on defenses for the Vols to have been at least respectable.

If Wilcox had stayed the Vols would have beaten Miss. State, USC, and Mizzou. The UF and UGA games were winnable to with a respectable defense. But, even with a respectable defense 10 wins this last season was a bit of a reach, and now with Bray, Patterson, and Hunter all departing early, the Vols must find replacements, and bring the defense back to respectability or it could be four straight losing seasons.

THE BEAST!

O line will be huge next year. Hopefully we have some new guys step to the plate. I do enjoy watching AJ kill it every time he touches the ball.
