For sure this year I would really like to know what our war room board looks like... position mix desired and player within position. I have speculated that our news cycles slowed down on a lot of targets while we finished the season hoping that a 6-1 finish could give us more strength in battles for guys higher up our board, and seeing which targets might be impacted by coaching turnover. Sometimes these coaching changes impact schools indirectly when guys we have not been involved with flip to schools where we are in contention on other players at that position and the late numbers crunch give kids cause to change their own pecking order... we shall see... we shall see.....

I can guarantee you this, get ready for a slew of new names to come up late December/early January.

It just has that feel like things are finally starting to swing our way. Hope this translates on the recruiting trail before early signing day.

I'm concerned that the early signing period (December 18th) may impact the Vols negatively this year. Tennessee has limited spots available based on current commits. We have finished the season on an up note and may be able sway a fee recruits, but they may want to see the bowl game. My concern is that if we pass on some now we may be left holding the bag in February.

The early signing period is still new to the coaches. Here's hoping they have a well thought out plan. GBO!

gotta get'em when you can but always leave room for late commits and transfers...this coaching staff will be recruiting players even after the Feb LOI's deadline for 2020...getting crazier all the time out there in the recruiting world...:D

GO BIG ORANGE!

I think you will see the fruits of the staff being on the road recruiting again soon. This has been the slowest fall I can recall in some time. We lost out on some guys that were heavily recruited because of all the negative recruiting early in the year. Martin, Neids, and Pruitt will get us back in some conversations. I don't know if we can close em out if we get back in it though.
