1. TBA is really quiet, no one stands but the students.

2. People started leaving when we were up 4 with 36 seconds left???

3. Cuonzo Martin's games bore me to death on TV and they do the same in TBA.

4. I'm now on the "bring back Pearl" bandwagon after seeing how dead our basketball fanbase is and how boring we are to watch. I thought seeing it in person would make it better, but it didn't.

1.) Was that way for many of Pearl's games, too. No surprise there.
2.) Happens in every sport, no idea why you're surprised it happened today. But yes, that's aggravating.
3.) Sorry you feel that way, but i saw lots of fans getting into it when the players executed like they've shown they're capable of doing. It's easy to badmouth the style after a loss.
4.) See above.

I lucked into some great tickets. Our section was vocal on D late in the game, but that's about what you get with TN basketball, even in the Pearl era. TBA will get rowdy for only the biggest games, and playing slow, defensive-minded ball doesn't help at all. The loudest fans were primarily directed at the officiating tonight, unfortunately.

TBA has never been a loud arena game in and game out. With Martin's style of play, I'm surprised some people don't fall asleep at times. Honestly, it's boring as hell at times. You can't blame the fans. This is entertainment and it's anything but that a lot of times.

Have to disagree with most of you. Been to many games at TBA and when we were good, that place was rocking. I mean, we are often top 3 in the SEC in attendance every year.

People have no faith in Cuonzo. This team lacks fire and his style is boring.

Sucks.

Attendance was announced at 18,000. We are a talented team with key SEC games coming up. Be a fan of the team and please forget about bringing back Pearl.

I thought the crowd noise was decent.

People started leaving when we were up four with several minutes left.

I left because it was obvious we were going to lose or come close. No reason to stick around to see professional ineptitude

Not a lot of excitement or energy on the court or the bench (coaches) for that matter. Leads to boring basketball which leads to quite crowds and lower attendance. Bring back Bruce!!!

Anyone who was at Pearl's first game against florida would know how insane TBA is capable of being. I remember Donovan motioning to the refs he couldn't hear anything and also stating how it was the toughest environment his team had faced. Hubert Davis back in '08 also stated it was a "top 5 atmosphere" in college basketball, after espn did a UT fla game, and he played in the acc. TBA is similar to Neyland in some aspects, as when it's at its best, very few places can rival it, except Neyland is obviously consistently tougher to play in.
