I heard someone say this as well. Something about Long being very close to John.

My guess is Arkansas lands Brady Hoke, Bob Stoops or Bill Cowher. If those guys say no then Bret Bielema is a shoe in to take the job.

I'm hoping this list isn't serious...I couldn't see one of those people accept the Arkansas job especially Brady Hoke

Maybe, maybe not.

1. LK will not leave USC. He's got it too good there in terms of having a team with a very high chance to win conference as well as vie for national championships on a frequent basis. he doesn't have to do a whole lot to get quality recruits in the California talent rich grounds. We might think he's dumb but he's no stupid. Though some would debate that.

2. Whether one wants to admit it or not, LK is a darn fine coach who fields teams that come to play every down. Don't let the Va Tech game fool you, he gave both UF and UA all they could handle before losing with what was an inferior team. As for his recruits that were all busts at the UT, fact is our Southern players are often from broken homes and that's both feet up on being stuck with kids who are prone to criminal behavior, easily losing their tempers, having street taught egos and a host of other problems. Every SEC coach has to deal with these kids and that's why you see so many suspended, dismissed, arrested and goodness knows what else.

I'm Arky will not seriously go after LK because he simply won't leave the USC. And even Arky would be leery of LK "staying power" if he did come. But considering him isn't drug induced nor crazy, just highly unlikely.

Again, it was a joke article

I heard Dr. Lou is interested. But only if Jimmy Johnson or Lovie Smith don't come. (Then there's-- wait for it-- Kirby Smart.)
