Offense: well called game, and Worley did a hell of a job getting us into the right plays in some big situations. I think he showed he is a more than capable qb when he goes through all his progressions. The TD pass, 3rd down to smith and the ball North dropped were all big league throws. A few times he did lock in on guys and we'd have another running wide open. The O-line and Neal continue to improve on the zone scheme. I think we'll continue to progress there. I honestly think the 2nd half of the season we will be tough to defend.

Defense: We are severely behind on this side of the ball in terms of talent and depth. We haven't had a pash rush in years but Vereen and Miller are making plays at times. Linebacker play is iffy, we are pretty good against traditional run sets but awful on the perimeter. The biggest breakdown that IMO actually cost us the game was the Murray draw play, not sure what happened there. DB is the thinnest spot on the unit, we have no depth and get beat every once in a while but they are some dogs. Our coverages made Murray look pretty dang average today. Sutton will be an all SEC player before he leaves, he was in perfect position on the early TD but the WR just made a heck of a play. Once again as we move forward and he more experience we'll be a lot better.

Special Team: continues to be a strength of our team. Palardy is finally looking like we thought he would. Kicking more touchback and his punts have been unbelievable. Coverage units have yielded very little return. Reeves-Maybin has a knack for the ball on those coverage teams and is on just about every tackle.

Coaching: Butch showed some stones tonight by not getting in the way in the crucial points. The 3 straight 4th downs and the calls show he is going to give the guys a chance to win it. We've gotten use to the playing not to lose mentality, and tonight was an awesome change. We are playing with more confidence than we have in years. Oregon was a debacle but every game tere is, other than that we have been pretty dang competitive. The Biggest coaching mistake has been benching Worley. I think we beat Florida with him in the whole game. I honestly think we'll go 4-2 over these last 6.

Fans: 2nd half was the best home atmosphere since the 06 Cal game. I know it's hard to get up for the lower tier teams but that place needs to become an advantage again. UGA had several communication problems due to crowd noise. We need to have that place rocking for the rest of the season. If we do we beat SC or Auburn and possibly both. It felt so good to be excited about an SEC football game again. See you guys again in 2 weeks.

Our defense played great, our offense played great, our team played great. Getting better week by week. That's my assessment.

+1 CBJ said he is in on a lot of special teams coaching. I think this is the most improved area of the team. GA was a negative 2 on punt return yds. The cake is "rising to the top".
