Never? I'll give you the Mizzou gm, esp Tiny's play. Overall, this is more about play calling and scheme, and since we're being "real" the entire OL are NFL bound.

Amen! Lane actually has some vision when he runs and makes good cuts... Neal tends to run straight into defenders and blockers and gets knocked down or gang tackled.

So what's your point? Are you critizing those who you believe were prematurely optimistic? Those who now may be overly pesimistic? Some who may be emotionaly flightly over the issue of UT football? It's obvious you are trying to call someone out I just don't know who?

only an idiot who is a sit in my recliner qb would question the coaching staff.sorry.i call it like i see it.they have done a good job considering the hand they were dealt.we are coming off 3 straight losing seasons and this team has improved by leaps and bounds under cbj.and on top of that we are standing toe to toe with the big boys in recruiting coming off 3 straight losing seasons.and you should know our rivals tell recruits that they shouldn't come to ut.and cbj still lands the big time recruits.better times are coming trust me.just show some patience.go vols brick by brick........!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

you don't bash a coaching staff in year 1.now if it's year 3 or 4 that is a different story.i'm just not into bashing coaches when the players should be held accountable for coming out flat.there are enough seniors on the team to keep the younger guys motivated.

Do they not realize some recruits read these forums? Hell, just be lookin forward to when Butch Jones gets his own players in there. Things will be totally different on Saturday morning or evening when a team rolls into Neyland.

How do they have more talent when they were just as bad if not worse than we were last year! How can they go from 3-9 and 0-8 in SEC play and are now on top of the world and ranked #8?!! Why didn't/cant that happen for us?

I believe with Butch Jones not many coaches out there will be able to outcoach him next year with this recruiting class coming in (EXCLUDING SABAN). Spurrier is on his way out i believe, Muschump will hopefully be fired at the end of this season, and with RUMOR going around that maybe Saban may go to Texas (doubtful) Butch will shine regardless though!:shades:

I don't have any issue with praising the staff or players when its warranted (and there has been some occasions when it was due this year)

I also don't have any issue calling out the staff when they appear to be poorly prepared and unable to make adjustments during a game. Nor when the players play the game uninspired, flat and without discipline.

After Saturdays effort there is plenty of negative to go around no different than there was positive 3 weeks ago.

First, you have to understand that situation is the exception.

Second, they just won a national title a few years ago.

Third, they have been recruiting pretty well.

Fourth, most of the players on the roster were recruited for the system they are running now.

Problem is, I could see where we are in position against Auburn this week to make tackles, but we won't.

they have much more talent from recruiting, just look at each of the teams' past few recruiting classes. We will be there soon enough, it just takes consistent recruiting and a stable program.
