I think the two biggest surprises in the league this year would be how bad LSU's defense and how good of a team Missouri fielded this year.
Agree! MIZ should be a case study for JH on how they pivoted from prior 3 seasons of 5, 6, 6 wins to unforeseen 10 win season.

Also, it's probably time to give Lane more credit @ OM. With very little PR, sitting at 10-2, while going 8-5 & 10-3 the two previous years is impressive, and historically their best 3 year run since early 60's.

I had us 9-3 or 8-4 I had us loosing to GA, Bama, and KY, then a possible loss to either Mizzou or USCe.

Thought 10-2. Loses to Bama and Ga. Didn't think Mizz would be as good as they have been. Still don't understand the Flordia loss. SMH We should have beat the brakes off them.

What thread had these predictions in them? Love reading where everyone thought it would go vs reality.

The 3 that made that happen. Brady Cook, Luther Burden & Cody Shrader think this is Schrader's 6th year he wont be back but the other 2 will.

The way injuries clearly effected our season is the very reason I don't do much preseason predicting etc. Just to many unknowns coming out of fall practice to make a very informed prediction (unless you're Bama, Ga etc with 5*'s waiting for someone to go down). And we have to literally use walk-on's and freshmen to fill our gaps. Makes a huge difference!

Had us at 8-4 with losses to UGA, BAMA, UF and some other loss to a team I didn't think we would lose to or a team that would catch us by suprise.... DID NOT picture Missouri as that team. They were on the" put my money down to beat" along with 4 OOC, Candy, Kentucky, USCe, Mizzou.

I’m sure if JH ever has a 5 win season, he’ll study what Drink did.

I had us 8-4 with losses to UF, A&M, Bama, and UGA. Was right on the money save A&M and Mizzou. Not happy I was right, but all in all, I saw this as a good season.

Considering how Schrader played, happy to see him go. But my daughter will be saddened as she is a first-year student at Mizzou.

He literally ran all over us and we were demoralized.

You had Florida just quitting before the season was over? 😂
Yep, if we play them in the last part of the schedule next year, they'll be saying don't know what happened to Florida but for some reason their playing their best ball at the end this year for a change. BVS
