If CP and Hunter go pro, which I predict they both will, then we will probably have 3 offensive players drafted in the 1st round (the other being Dallas Thomas)... I hate that we have such an explosive group of WR's at a time when we were so bad, but for the remainder of the season I'm just going to enjoy watching how explosive of playmakers we have and how great it is that they are wearing orange... CP might be the most explosive player that I've ever seen play for UT (I started watching in the early 90s)... He is the closest thing we have had to a Reggie Bush/Percy Harvin.

If we stand any chance of these players coming back next year, it is going to be because they want to enjoy another year of college football... We might be able to play a small part in that by relaxing a bit and taking some time to enjoy their playmaking abilities... Football season is too short, and a player's time at UT doesn't feel much longer, so take a second and enjoy watching our WR's play... If nothing else, doing so will increase the likelihood that they say "University of Tennessee" in their intro's once they make it on an NFL team :p

If we get a proven winner in here that'll be our only shot at them returning next year, and our only shot at having a good recruiting class.

I dont think any of those are 1st rounders. they all need to improve significantly. I hope/think they all stay another year and go for 1st round money next year.

I also think their decisions will be based on the coaching change/or lack thereof.

Only WR's that have an argument at being better than CP and JH in the NFL is the WR from Cal and Robert Woods from USC

Both Hunter and Patterson are probably gone. Fans relaxing or not relaxing will have 0% to do with it.

Players are more likely to enjoy their college football experience if they are treated well/valued versus being criticized and blamed everytime something goes wrong. I agree that they are both probably gone, which I stated in the first sentence.

It's best if we just let them all go. They will all make their mark in the NFL and be shoe ins for the Hall of Fame. Remember they didn't come here for a degree and a chance at learning something, they came here to use UT as a stepping stone to the NFL. Let them fulfill their dream.

They will end up at Kroger bagging groceries soon enough.

Hunter and CP are gone for sure. Bray's gone, too, unless we hire a big name coach that he thinks can help him. All three will be stats padding like crazy from here on out to improve their draft stock. If we win out, it will be because our playmakers are playing lights-out to secure their future paydays. The last three years haven't been fun for anybody, and that's a shame. With our talent on offense, this should have been a breakout year, and this team should have been exciting to watch.

And has nothing to do with the fact that we are playing lesser quality teams?

Jerod Mayo always comes to mind. His dominance in November back when he was a Junior is what changed him from coming back as a SR to being a 1st round pick...

Is Troy a lesser quality team? They almost beat us, and it was a shootout all four qtrs. Is Mizzou? We are favored by 2.5 and home field advantage is 3.

Not trying to be argumentative, but I think our playmakers are kicking it into high gear to draft higher, and that will ultimately help us. YMMV.

Any player with a projection of 2nd round or higher are gone. Some maybe even with a third round. It's more of a mess than ever imagined imo.

Is Troy and Mizzou a lesser quality team than UF, UGA, Alabama, Miss State, and SC? Yes.

Hunter and CP are definitely gone. Wouldn't be surprised if Bray is as well. My only agrument is that while some may need some guidance, there not getting it here so why stay? I'm sure Bray will have to gamble that a team is willing to help him develop. Kids got an arm, but mentally he needs ALOT of work.

My suggestion would be to fire Sal before Saturday and give our defense new hope for the remainder of the season.
