Well...

1. Ainge and the wide receivers kept us in the game. Our offensive line resembled a dam in the process of crumbling throughout the game, and Ainge showed a new dimension tonight in his mobility. Yes, he made some boneheaded moves, but you can only expect so much given the circumstances.

2. Our offensive line is going to have to pick up the play. Or else we are screwed. That was straight up awful. They created very little for a set of backs who generally need all the help they can get, and got progressively worse in their pocket protection. There are only two games left on the schedule in which we will see a similar-level pass rush. Tonight was a prime example that all offenses live and die with their line. You can feature the greatest skill players in the world, and they would be reduced to mediocrity at best if they don't get blocks.

3. Relax, our season is not over. Neither Florida or Georgia look that good this season. Leak was crapping himself every time he faced a serious pass rush. Florida will get killed that way. Georgia's offense is just not that good. Both of them have good defenses... But, as I like to say, defense may win championships, but you win a football game by putting up more points than the other guy. Ainge looks great leading our passing game, and his pocket presence is great. If the pass protection even gets to the level of "okay" and our runningbacks get a few good holes per game, we will be fine. We just need to pick it up before Georgia, and certainly by LSU. If the o-line gets better (maybe pick the d up a smidge too) we are golden.

I don't think we are going to win the East, but thank god the other teams play Auburn and we don't . (doesn't mean Auburn will win though.)

Both our offensive and our defensive line are nowhere close to being where they should be. Our line play last night was TERRIBLE.

In games we see these shortcomings and I think....hello adjustments?...uh hello? It seems they go in with a game plan with no contigencies on what to do if it does'nt work. Then you hear nothing I mean absolutely nothing addressing that point from the coaching staff....don't they get it?:dunno:
