My thoughts on Bammer

I know Bammer fans are high after beating Florida but let's keep a few things in mind. They are also the same team that only led 9-7 vs MTSU. They also trailed Southern Miss at half and were it not for a miracle catch they were in trouble. They also needed a late score to beat a bad Arkansas team. So just remember even though they were impressive vs Fla, they haven't looked so good in other games!!! Nice schedule too!!! :devilsmoke:

they didn't need a late score to beat ARK, they needed a late score to win by 2 scores. have you forgotten about 17-10 vs. UAB?? That was a lot closer than any of our games have been. but keep reminding yourself of our games that were "sort of" close. that'll make you feel like your team has a chance.

I agree that they are overconfident from the UF trouncing. We need this one badly. GO VOLS! :clapping:

We sure do have a lot of UAT fans coming on here talking smack. Has UAT played UAB since they have started actually playing well. Where's blazer85??

No we haven't. But yall have. I think they were a pass through the fingertips away from taking yall's sorry team to overtime earlier in the season. Yall scored 17 points on the mighty UAB defense. Jacksonville State and SMU put up more points than that against the blazers. But yall are going to beat us...sure... :eek:lol:

So, are you guys afraid to schedule them?? I guess you won't since Southern Miss hung with you guys. And the last thing bammers need is UAB beating UAT. But you won't realize UAB had a pretty good team unless you play them. Oh, that will never happen though.

I will come back here and eat crow if we lose. I'm also not predicting a blowout...that was someone else. I figure it to be close either way.

Whatever, ya'll have flamed your own coaches and players more than I ever could. I only respond in flames to idiots flaming first. "Our coaches and team sucks"...."We are going to beat Bama and Notre Dame". Again I ask, which is it?

We never trailed to UAB, you were behind vs Southern Miss at half!! UAB is better than any nonconference team yall have or will play this year!!!

Why not both? Even a suck team with suck coaches should be able to handle those puds from Bama without too much trouble.

This makes me think back to Bama's last national title year in 1992, when they struggled to beat LA Tech 13-6. Bama is notorious for playing up to the competition, as is Tennessee (UAB), so it's kind of hard to judge on past performances in the season.
