I wrote this on my FB page, and I was wondering what everyone else thinks about it. For example what I missed out on and what information I have wrong. This is a informal entry for my fellow colleagues so don't go crazy lol.:hi:

As of March 23rd 2010 Obama will pass his idea of socialized medicine. Many people know that I am very frustrated that this bill is going to become law. So many of my colleagues have asked me "Evan, why are you so upset? Now everyone can have free health care and we can finally help people out!!!" Wow!!! That sounds great but sadly that is not the case. Unfortunately many of colleagues are uniformed about Obamacare because they are to busy watching M.T.V or what not but I feel it is my duty some what to express why the American people should be against this.

First off, everyone that is claiming that this Obamacare is "free" get a grip on life, nothing is free in life and that rule is especially true with the government. Taxes are going to go up immediately. How much you ask? Try one trillion dollars. A big part of that is going to hit the small companies that make jobs in this country and last time I checked we do not have enough jobs right now. The other part of the taxes are going to come out of your hard earn pay check, for example an increase in Social Security Taxes and Medicare taxes, and an additional 3.8% increase on income tax.

Second, everyone that has health care as of now better get their check ups , plastic surgery, and what not because you are going to be put on a waiting list when this bill is enforced in 2014 and yes the wait is going to be very long, try getting an operation in Canada if you don't believe me or just go to the local DMV because that is about how fast we are going to get **** done now. Now lets sit back and think about it we already have around 20 million illegally Americans living in America that do not have health care plus you have the dumb masses that can not afford their own health care because they love getting freebies that number is roughly around 47 million. Then you add the already slow process of health care then 67million......Do you honestly believe you are going to receive treatment for that infected toe you got? Nope you might have to wait 6months before a doctor will be able to help you by that time you might not have a toe anymore but hey everyone wanted change, I can't even imagine if someone was dying from cancer and they had to be put on hold.

Third, people like myself are going to drop our coverage. Why the hell should I pay for health care when I am young and stupid? I rarely get sick and I never truly needed health care because I am not old and dying!!! After all, health providers can not deny me coverage now so I only need to sign up when I am sick. AMAZING!!! Yeah it sounds good for "us" but horrible for the nation. Once this starts to happen, the premiums will go up for everyone that needs health care because if the insurance companys can not make up their loss in profit, they will increase it on someone else. The old people will be forced to stop their coverage because they can not afford it and gamble on their luck and pray that they do not get sick. Once all of the insurance companys are out of business, the good old government will come over to save us and provide a true government option plan.

Well everyone, you wanted change and I believe this is the first step to achieving it. If you truly do not yet understand why this bill is horrible for our country there are two reasons for that A. I did not give you enough clear information or B. you are a idiot and more than likely you are the idiot.

Until next time I hope everyone loves the change you can believe in because I can already feel my pocket feeling up with just change. Stay classy, we will meet in November.

I have a feeling the immediate impact of this bill is going to be much less dramatic. The proverbial s**t won't hit the fan until 10-15 years down the road when the costs become unsustainable (assuming the bill stays in its current form and not revised).

With the huge fraction of our population that would already fall under medicare/medicaid coverage in 10-15 years, do you think that the added cost of covering the new 30 million will be as high as it might seem? That is why it would make sense to me that bringing all healthcare costs down would be target number 1. Making health insurance costs more lower or health insurance more attainable isn't going to do anything for the already existent public option of medicare/medicaid, which is going to cost us unreal amounts of money in 10-15 years.

We are on the same page. I agree completely.

My thoughts.

I heard an analogy today that explained it about as well as can be.

We needed a new roof on the house (which was all we could pay for), Obama tore the house down, built a brand new house.

On credit.

And the house is now a piece of garbage that was half-assedly put together.

Don't forget the bank they borrowed the money from is bankrupt.

Why were the Democrats in such a rush to pass this if the major provisions don't get phased in until after the next Presidential election??? Obama doesn't want to risk losing a Democratic majority in Congress, and the bill is so disastrous that he doesn't want it to hurt his re-election bid. He and the democratic leadership are despicable.

No surprise there considering who the architects and builders were.

Because he doesn't need 8 years to push his parties agenda up everyone's rear end. He's a puppet, a pawn and nothing more. They've got a grip on most everything that would actually turn this economy around. They just about control it all now and never intended for it to recover. In fact it's just the opposite, they want it to fail. One world government.
