Yes he did. If Zakai is on his game (which he seems crazy focused right now) he should give them fits.

We are better than Houston. Give Lanier another day to get used to shooting in the football stadium, and I REALLY like our chances.

We both have great D- but I think ours is a notch better - especially given the talent level we have been able to shut down this season.

And our offense - especially with Z - and Lanier as I stated above - gimmie the Vols for the Final Four !

I wouldn't worry about buying them quick - ticket prices are only going to drop and there is going to be PLENTY of them - You will overpay right now ..

Yeah you’re right, got excited and started searching. Hopefully the lower level sections drop pretty good and a lot of orange gets in.

Houston is on a 16 game winning streak and 29-1 in their last 30 games. A very impressive run. But when I watch them, I was underwhelmed. I think ZZ and Shack will cause problems to their guards. They don't have much size inside. And the one thing they do well, shoot the 3 ball, we also do well defending.

I think if we start out hot, punch them in the mouth, they may fold. I really think we could beat them by double digits. They haven't felt a hard fought loss in long time. And as we have seen from the tourney, the Big 12 didn't really have any other good teams that match the SECs top 4.

They are beatable. Auburn and Alabama defeated Houston earlier this season. They struggle in the half court.

Unless I am mistaken, Houston hasn't beaten an SEC team, and has losses to non-SEC teams, while UT hasn't lost to a non-SEC team. Houston's schedule doesn't impress me, especially compared to running an SEC gauntlet. They may be a great team, but their record has yet to show it.

I went to sleep after halftime, but from what I saw, Houston and Purdue seemed pretty evenly matched. The good thing is that we won't have to play with the Purdue crowd noise. Let's win this thing:

Seems like the vols and Houston have had similar metrics for several years and never played each other. It's going to be an intense game and need major ball security. I think the 4 guard lineup with Felix will get major run against them.
