They are my opinions but i wanna lay them out here.

1.) Why are we calling long developing pass plays when we have struggled at pass pro? When teams blitz, Nico folds and runs. Play calling has got to be better in this aspect. Have a WR run a 3-5 yard dig or a SLANT ROUTE. Run the two TE sets we ran against NC ST. When you see a team blitzing, motion a TE out and have him run a slant route forcing the OLB to cover or give up the 7-9 yards. We called 1 RB screen play on Saturday and it was to Squirrell White's side of the field.....WHY? That poor guy is playing hurt and cant block with the AC joint. Just didnt make sense if you are going to play Bru aswell. It needed to go to Bru's side or Bru and Squirrell should have swapped sides.

2.) Why are our other WRs not getting opportunities? You marched Bru and White out there all banged up against Florida. If our WR room is so deep they should have been resting on the sidelines for the Bama game. Mike Matthews is the real deal and needs more playing time or he is going to transfer this off season.

3.) Glen Elarbee. My dude, you have got to go. You have been given 4 years and alot of money to recruit and develop the OL. You have YET to start any OL you have recruited and the position outside Cade mays and Spraggins isnt very good. I have seen 0 development this season from that group.

4.) Heupel, my dude. I love the culture you have built with this program. Seeing what it was over the years to what it is now is night and day. Your offensive scheme is unique, with that being said it needs help. Halzle and Elarbee are not giving you the twist you need to keep defenses on their heels. Maybe thats from them not being able to decipher what they are seeing from a defensive look, idk. But last year and now this year this offense is becoming/is stagnant. I understand these guys have been with you from the start but if you wanna win Championships you have to make hard choices. You have to find someone who will add a different look to your offense.

I really think we get blown out by Alabama on Saturday. I hate that team with every fiber of my being and it makes me sick that they are as beatable now as they have EVER BEEN over the past 16 years. Our offense just doesnt have it. I went from thinking we were a playoff team to worried about Vandy in the span of 3 games. I will always love my vols but gotta call it like it is.

2 of those long developing pass plays were wide open and should have been TDs. Nico overthrew both of them. If White was completely healthy he might have been able to adjust to his pass better for the reception, but it still was a little overthrown. Brazzell got open but Nico missed him and didn't make the throws. Oh, Bama's O-line is as bad as UT's, they got manhandled by USCe. They gave up more sacks than UT did. Their defense isn't on par as previous defenses either. If UT can start out in rhythm like Saturday and not turn the ball over they can beat Bama at home. They just need to cut down on pre snap penalties and stay ahead of the sticks.

OK aRmo, this is where our opinions differ. We know our O has the capability. We sure as hell know our D is well tested and ready. Just asking for 30 minutes apiece from each of them and their shall be no blowout of the Vols this weekend. Not going as far as guaranteeing a win either, but blowout? Not so fast my friend, not so fast!! Go Vols

Well said. I don't know about replacing coaches but any halfway knowledgeable fan can see, aside from the poor pass protection, play-calling has got to be better. We all love the 50 yrd pass but we also need the 5-7 yrd pass to keep the blitz off. I know Heupel wants to run the ball but it has to be a mixture & not so predictable. We don't have the oline horses & depth to make the blocks time after time for the run.

You don’t get blown out with a defensive front 7 like we have, especially considering the recent play of the dbs.

Totally agree with no. 1, and so does Austin Price; can't believe you didn't mention the penalties.

Green had his way with us at Arkansas. He was well on his way to a 350+ passing day before getting hurt.

Penalties have been an issue since Heupel got here. Its like beating a dead horse. Its always been an issue with his scheme i think.
