We didn't deserve to win the game. We couldn't convert any of the give aways into points. Our offensive scheme is pathetic. My take on butch is that it looks like more of the same. This season has been an outright failure and I cant wait until next season to see if we can somehow become a .500 football team. We were out played, coached and most disappointed in the fact that we were out hearted and out schemed by Vandy.

I agree there was a couple of times I was wanting the EMS to go out on the field and see if our playershad a heart beat

His arse would never leave the bench for me. A pass that hits him in the face mask, really, get rid of all the loser's on this team before our new class comes in. There is no mean streak in these kids, they have a loser mentality. I would have never wasted a scholarship on that clown, I don't give a damn how he catches in practice, it means nothing when the lights come on. Even Palardy is a nut job, he chokes the chicken in big time situations, nice year but a shatty ending. He even looked drugged with his kicks.

Our D held Vandy to 7 points for 57 minutes!

Our D played hard and with heart. This lose is NOT on the D.

My thoughts.... there was really no reason for you to start a thread about your thoughts when any of another dozen or so threads already in existence would have worked just as well.

I agree with 99% of your comments. The only thing is out hearted maybe it was just that the coaching is not or has not been there for 4 years.

I have stated that I thought we were overachieving early in the season and after the Georgia game, but got slammed for it so I drank more kool aide.

This kids played with a lot of heart tonight but at times I got scared because at times CBJ looked just like Dooley on the sidelines tonight. His motivation and leadership was missing tonight....almost like a deer in the headlight look. It was like he knew it was over a quarter and a half into the game or maybe he was pissed about the play calling.

Everybody knows that our offensive line is overrated and they continuously validated it game after game this year. Not once did they ever come close to dominating the line of scrimmage against a quality opponent. Maybe a period or two in the USCe game.

I believe that this type of offense will work in the SEC but I am not sure if this current staff is capable of teaching or play calling it to the level of efficiency needed to produce the desired results. It may not be talent as much as it is coaching it. Our staff, seems to be the issue here because this offense has got to be instinctive in nature and our staff seems to second guessing the play calling.

The jury will be out at the end of the season and most likely some have already ruled regarding CBJ and staff, regardless, he will be here more than two more years, but two more losing seasons he should be gone. Stj made a statement that CBJs demise could hang on his failure to change out the staff and he could be right.

Defensively, no improvement for this game. God I would give a nut for 3rd and Chavis right now and I would not mind a cutcliff type offensive play called game.

At least I would be comfortable knowing what team and the standards of players we would see on the field.

We would have fixed the LOS problems if Fulmer was still around. He knew how to coach lines.

Lol 3 weeks from now there will be new and many more my thoughts threads started. The my thought threads will be here until we have no team or a winning undefeated season.

2 inches and this season is a complete success and everybody is singing butches praises... 2 inches and were 6-5 right now. I don't think 2 inches should be what decides if this is a failure season or not.

Tennessee will stay average as long as we keep settling for field goals in the red zone instead of touchdowns. How many times do you see Bama get inside the 20 and just shut down? JMO
