No one cares & I really do not expect a single response to this thread.

But humor me & look at the three teams I claim & who consume more of my time, emotion, & money than I care to admit:

--Vols
--Baylor Bears
--NY Mets

This may be the best week of MY sports life.

--Vols came back from down 21 to beat GA. I literally cried Sat. afternoon. Not ashamed to admit it.

--Baylor is ranked #2 in the country. BAYLOR!!!

--Mets just beat LA to get into the NLCS.

Now, if I could just get the wife to....

I'm right with you somewhat. The Vols made a comeback and put the GA win streak to bed, and then Tennessee kid CJ Beatherd is finally the starting QB for the Iowa Hawkeyes and he's lead the Hawks to a win over Illinois today, to put Iowa 6-0 and off to the best start in a long time. I would love to be able to brag on the Braves, but anyone who knows MLB
knows that the Braves always seem to shot their selfs in the foot this time of year. Lol. Go Vols & Hawks!

OMG. Life just keeps getting better.

Mets are in World Series. Baylor avenged only regular season loss from 2014. Could it be an omen that Vols are going to beat Alabama?

I could die a happy man.

My three teams are doing well. I think Tennessee will go 8-4,Stanford will win 10-11 games and the Falcons will go 12-4 and make the Playoffs

Congrats on your success, seriously. Sports are great fun when the breaks go your way. Here's my roller coaster year:

-Vols blow three double-digit leads...then beat Georgia coming back from 21
-Michigan hires Jim Harbaugh then loses on a play that ensures me Michigan State worships Satan
-The Predators have a wonderful comeback year then lose two double/triple OT ball-busters against Chicago
-The Lions get every single break possible to go 11-5 then lose in a fashion so troubling I lock myself in my room and don't verbally talk to anyone for about three hours
-The Tigers, thankfully, just sucked and avoided any serious drama.

So...it's been fun? I guess?

Sorry man, just can't conceive the idea that any grown man would cry because the college football team he pulls for, even "loves", wins a football game. Happy, smiling, thrilled? Yep. Weeping? No.

I did make that joke leaving Neyland. I took the wife and my two oldest daughters.... It was the daughters first game in Neyland.

Sorry to bump a self-centered old thread, but my sports year just keeps getting better:

Living here in Denver, so excited for Peyton Manning & the Broncos to go to the Super Bowl.

I hope he goes out in style: final game, full Elway, drop the mic, Super Bowl Champs.

My three teams, while historically well-off, are currently collectively terrible. We'll get it together soon and someone will win a championship, I hope.
