Three of those would have to win an SEC championship before I would be the least bit interested in starting to go to games again. Of the other two, one is not coming because we cannot outbid his current boss and the other we are too scared to hire.

Mora and Shaw? Not. Really. They'd come in a heart beat imo.

I just watched the end of the PAC whatever championship....don't think either would leave their current situation to go to a fixer-upper sec school. Both are west coast guys w. little connections to southeastern recruiting. Don't get me wrong, Shaw would be great. Why leave a great situation in a league that is capable in being dominated to go in to the bloodbath known as the sec?

I bet this list is close to other s out there in the football world. I'll add these because they are mentioned on several sites and sport talk stations...

Al Golden...his name gets throw in because many analyst believe he does want out of Mimai and the ACC.

Jim Tressel...despite the NCAA on him he is available right awy and has impressive record that's the best of all the selections

Greg Roman...yes he is a OC but if Hart cannot lure a established HC away from somewhere he is going to look at some top cordinators.

Butch Davis....same as Tressel because he's available right away and has known name. Did well at Miami but average at UNC with one bowl...Music City. Resume falls short compared to Tressel and Petrino

I like the addition of OSU's Grundy. He's really good but getting him out of there would be like Patterson leaving TCU.The Top Three of Fisher, Fedora and Petrino would make a excellent hire. Dark horse would be Tressel and that would work well.

Butch Davis was poised to have a big year at UNC before the suspensions. Had a ton of NFL talent, especially on defense.

TUX is on the right Track! The Key to being successful at UT is Head Coach= great Recruiter and hiring great Coordinators. Example: Fulmer-great recruiter Cut and the Chief. I would have Franklin #2 and Strong #1. Strong's team has improved every year and is going to a BCS bowl this year. Strong is a great recruiter as well.
