Its games like this that test the truest fan...Ive seen tennessee beat before but to be overun in their own house by the very team that did it recently, ...wow...from the 1st 3 plays I said to myself Sanders is not in control of this offense. Im suprised an auburn player didnt put his helmet down on the 50 yard line center as time ran out, they played like it was their house. With that said im big orange fan and always will be, and a positive to note im sure several freshmen and sophmores grew up a lot in that game.

I'm sure we are going to hear all kinds of overly negative comments from those who have had their heads in the clouds since Florida. And at the same time those of us who are critical of the game will be called out as fair-weathered fans.

One way or the other mistakes will be rectified, and someone will pay. Be it Georgia, Ole Miss or Bama, someone will pay.

Funny how Sanders was a genious the first three games, now he's "not in control". Funny thing, I didn't see Sanders throw 5 ints nor fumble the ball. On the other side of the line, I didn't see Sanders miss 4 or 5 dozen tackles. Whey do we always have to BLAME someone when we lose a game? Man, this is college football where the unexpected is normal. To this Vol, I'll take some losses in exchange for the excitement, heritage and tradition that is UT football.

The biggest problem at the beginning of the game was that Auburn was shifting the defense, AFTER the audible was being made. For freshmen qbs, that can be really confusing. Auburn dictated the Vols offense. The game plan was to run and keep the pressure off the qbs... but the Auburn defense showed run defense and then shifted back to play the pass.

I'm not surprised that a team finally did this shifting.... I'm really surprised that Florida and LaTech did not shift defensive sets to confuse the qbs. The Vols will need to come up with a better system with these freshmen qbs or the results will continue to be similar.

Those 1st 3 plays were ugly, but if we hadn't audibled we'd be talking about why our freshman QB didn't get us out of a run play when Auburn walked both safties down into the box. That's just life when you play with a Freshman QB.
