Yancey huh?

He definitely showed some skills in the OW game but you have to wonder if he will get a legit shot.

Hey Freaky, were we supposed to put 5 or 4?? Your title said one thing, but the first post said another.

In that case you can do either. I started out thinking five but changed to 4 in my post.

We are supposed to have a team of all-star running backs, and Yancey (a walk-on) showed them up in the spring. I also want to list Tinsley as an honorable mention (if they give him playing time).

Forgotten about that. So I will replace him with Hefney or Corey Campbell.

You are gonna replace him with two people? ;)

Wow, another Yancey fan.

I just find it hard to fathom that he will get much of a chance over Riggs and Houston, but maybe he will prove me wrong.

The one thing you must remember, we now have a new RB coach. I see Trooper as a man of his word, and he said the best RB will start. Everyone is on ground zero, and Yancey showed me the most promise.

I guess it just reminds me of the guy (I can't think of his name right this second) that played great in the o&w game for a couple years in a row but never saw much playing time.

Imo, Yancey would have to be a LOT better than Houston and Rigss to bump them down the chart. Who knows...only time will tell. I did like what I saw of him in the spring game. He definitely looked like he ran with more heart than the others.

I would say of the two Riggs has the better shot than Houston (if he can get his head on straight). Houston has been the featured back for the last two years, but has failed to show he can be an all-SEC back. Riggs however is the smoothest runner I have seen at UT in a while.
