Ernest Goes to Camp in a blowout. I didn't recognize any of the titles after Scared Stupid.

I refuse to admit I've seen any of them and that Ernest Saves Christmas is a favorite.

I remember the first time I saw Varney interviewed. It was shocking how smart he was.

I rememeber as a kid owning a VHS of nothing but commercials, either bloopers or intentionally goofy, by "Earnest". I have been trying to find clips.

"Whats that Verne? You're AC is broken?"

*take a look*

"There's you're problem right there Verne!!! You just have to give it a little...."

*shocked when sticking pliars into the AC, and possibly proceeding to fall off a ladder"

I think it was on A&E's Biography that I learned Varney was schooled in the Shakespearean method, you saw that in some of his characterizations.

btw, I think his best is "Ernest Saves Christmas". Particularly the snake wrangler and the old woman with the walker.

"...these steps might as well be Mt. Everest..."

He died while filming “Ernest the Pirate (2000).”. It was almost complete but he died before they filmed some key scenes so they have never released any footage of it. They should CGI the scenes he died before filming and release it, JMO.

That was my favorite one. I believe that part of the movie, especially the water scene was filmed at Montgomery Bell State Park, where we went a lot as kids. I graduated high school with the director's daughter where she has a small role.
